My name is Patrick Mosca and I am the owner and operator of Kapiem Drums, pronounced "K-P-M" after my wife and my initials.

I have been drumming since 1997 and am a carpenter by trade, crafting custom cabinetry and furniture for clients since 2018. In 2024, as a carpenter, I decided I wanted to try and build myself a drum set and that is when I stumbled upon stave-built drums. Within minutes of watching videos, I was in love with the idea of solid wood drums and designed plans for my first milling jig. From that moment on I knew I had found my greatest passion, combining drums with high-level woodworking. After creating my first snare, this ambrosia maple shell in photo, I knew this wasn't just for me. This was the birth of something greater, a brand creating handcrafted works of art that stand out in sight as well as sound. And so Kapiem Drums was born!
